Please present proof of identity with a government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms of identification are found on the Federal I-9 form from the Department of Homeland Security. These include U.S. and Foreign Passport, Permanent Resident or Alien Registration Receipt Card, Employment Authorization Document containing a photo, a State issued Drivers License, Federal or State issued ID card, U.S. Military Card, Military Dependent's ID Card.

Deposits range from $0 to $300, based upon your credit history. The deposit and a $25.00 service fee are collected prior to connection of services.

Municipal Court and Court Clerk's Office is located in City Hall at 110 N. Main. The Municipal Courtroom is located, in the City Hall Annex of Thomas-Wilhite Memorial Library, on the corner of Main Street and Thomas. Enter using the library door on the south side of the building.
Municipal Court begins at 1:30 p.m. Cases are called in alphabetical order. If you will be late to court, you need to call 405-547-2445 before noon.
Pay in person – go to the front desk in City Hall located at 110 North Main Street. City Hall is open Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. If you are paying on the day of court, payments can be taken in City Hall until noon. Otherwise, you need to see the Deputy Court Clerk in the lobby of the library. Payments can be made with cash, cashier’s check, money order, check, or by credit card online at www.cityofperkins.net. Pay by mail -If you pay by mail, enclose a copy of your citation, check the appropriate box and sign the back of the citation. Make your money order, cashier’s check or check payable to the City of Perkins. Under Oklahoma law, a dishonored check is considered nonpayment of fine and costs. If you include a self addressed and stamped envelope we will mail a receipt back to you. Do not mail cash. Pay online- You may pay your citation online at www.cityofperkins.net. We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. You will need the citation # and the amount due to pay online. After hours – After regular business hours, you may drop your payment in the night deposit box located at 110 North Main on the front of City Hall. If you are making a payment after regular hours please include your citation with your payment. Do not place cash in the night deposit box.
Any defendant who wants to plead NOT GUILTY must appear on their arraignment date at 1:30 p.m. and request the matter be set for trial. The arraignment date is the date provided by the officer on the citation. A trial date will be scheduled when the officer who issued the citation will be present, the city prosecutor and any witnesses for your defense. An attorney is not required however, you may be represented at your own expense if you choose. Failure to appear for trial will result in the issuance of a bench warrant for your arrest and/or suspension of your driver's license.

The Municipal Judge should be addressed as Judge Koemel, Judge Shaw or Your Honor and court staff or officers as Mr., Mrs., Miss, or Officer. Hats and caps should be removed while in the courtroom. No cellular phones, pagers or other electronics allowed in the courtroom. No food, drink, chewing gum, or tobacco allowed in the courtroom. Infants and small children should remain in the lobby until guardian is called to appear. Do not enter and depart the courtroom excessively. Weapons are strictly prohibited.
Bring registration papers from tag agency to City Hall and the Court Clerk will review them. City Hall is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

All items in your polycart will be picked up. Please bag all trash and close the lid on your polycart to help keep our city clean. Polycarts should be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 am to ensure pick up and should be removed from the curb once empty.
Please notify City Hall at (405) 547-2445 within 24-hours of the missed pick-up.
If one polycart is not enough, you may request an additional polycart by calling City Hall. Additional polycarts cost $7.21 per month.
Damaged or broken polycarts are replaced at no charge. Call City Hall (405-547-2445) to report a damaged or broken polycart.
For those residents who occasionally have more trash than a polycart will hold, trash bags approved by Davis Sanitation are available. The 42-gallon trash bags may be purchased at City Hall at a cost of $1.75 each or five for $8.00. These may be placed curbside with the polycart on regular trash pick-up day.
Trash service runs Monday through Friday as scheduled for all holidays, except Thanksgiving and Christmas. Please check the City’s website calendar or Facebook page or call City Hall (405) 547-2445 for how those two holidays will affect trash pick-up in your neighborhood.
