Tee-Ball and Coach Pitch

Description

The City of Perkins Tee-ball and Coach Pitch leagues are non-competitive leagues to teach children the fundamentals of the sport, rules, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Registration Information

Registration Period/Fees

Early Registration: February 1st to 19th
Fees: $50.00 per child (Cash or Check Only). The registration fee covers the Child's Uniform.

Late Registration: February 20th to 21st
 Fees: $60.00 per child (Cash or Check Only.) The registration fee covers the Child's Uniform and $10 late fee.

All registration forms and payments need to be turned into Perkins City Hall by the Due date to ensure that all children are on the roster prior to the Coaches Meeting Draft Night. If the Parks and Recreation Department cannot fill a team refunds will be issued.

Registration Sites

Forms are available for pickup at Perkins City Hall: 110 N. Main, 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

A sign up form can be downloaded or can be emailed to you by emailing the Parks and Recreation office.

General Information

Who Can Play?

Children no younger than 4 years old or in Pre-K and older than 8 years old or 2nd grade boys and girls- Teams will be coed.

Teeball will consist of Pre-K and Kindergartners

Coach Pitch will consist of 1st to 2nd graders.

Players do not have to be residents of the City of Perkins.

Activity Days/Times

Practices will be held in the evenings: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Friday.
Potential Practice Times: 5:30, 6:30, 7:30

Games will be held in the evenings Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Potential Game times: 5:30, 6:30, 7:30

Location

All practices and games will be held at Peters Park located at 1100 W Kirk Street

Provided Equipment

Jersey w/ hat or visor,
Use of Bats
Helmets
Baseballs/softballs, and "soft" Tee-Balls

Additional Equipment

Cleats*
Gloves
Family shirts are available for purchase through the Parks and Recreation Department starting at $12.

We will also have a photographer come out and take team pictures and individual shots at parents request. Payment are an additional cost that is paid to the vendor.
