Tee-Ball and Coach Pitch
Description
The City of Perkins Tee-ball and Coach Pitch leagues are non-competitive leagues to teach children the fundamentals of the sport, rules, teamwork, and sportsmanship. If you are interested in coaching, or have additional questions please contact the Parks and Recreation Director: 405-747-7520 or .

Registration Information
Registration Period/Fees
Early Registration: March 6th, 2017 -March 22nd, 2017
        Fees: $47.00 per child (Cash or Check Only). The registration fee covers the Child's Uniform and a participation medal at the end of the season.


Late Registration: 8:00am on March 23rd, 2017- 12:00pm on March 27th, 2017.
       Fees: $57.00 per child (Cash or Check Only.) The registration fee covers the Child's Uniform, a participation medal at the end of the season, and $10 late fee.

Note* Registrations will not be accepted after 12:00pm on March 27th, 2017 to make sure all children are on the roster for the Coaches Meeting and Draft Night at 7:00pm.

Registration Sites
Forms are available for pickup at Perkins City Hall: 110 N. Main, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

All registration forms and payments needs to b turned into Perkins City Hall by the due date to ensure that all children are on the roster prior to the Coaches Meeting/Draft Night. If the Parks and Recreation Department cannot fill a team refunds will be issued.

General Information

Who Can Play?
Pre-K through 3rd grade boys and girls- teams will be coed.

Teeball will consist of Pre-K and Kindergarteners
Coach Pitch will consist of 1st-3rd graders.

Players do not have to be residents of the City of Perkins.

Who Can Coach?
Any adult over the age of 18 is allowed to coach. All coaches must complete and sign a "Request to Coach Form", pass a Criminal Background Check, and Child Abuse Registry Background to coach.

Coaches must attend the Mandatory Coaches Meeting/Draft Night that will be held Monday, March 27th, 2017 at 6pm in the Vassar Community Center (730 N. Plaza Drive).

Activity Days/Times
Practices will be held in the evenings: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Friday.
Potential Practice Times: 5:30, 6:30, 7:30

Games will be held in the evenings Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Potential Game times: 5:30, 6:30, 7:30

Location
All practices and games will be held at Peters Park located at 1100 W Kirk St.

Provided Equipment
Jersey w/ hat or visor,
Use of Bats
Helmets
Baseballs/softballs, and "soft" Tee-Balls

Additional Equipment
Cleats*
Gloves

Family shirts are available for purchase through Model tee starting at $12. All orders and payments need to go through the coach and due by March 31st, 2017

We will also have a photographer come out and take team pictures and individual shots at parents request. Payment are an additional cost that is paid to the vendor.
