Description
The City of Perkins Basketball Fun league is a non-competitive league to teach children the fundamentals of the sport, rules, teamwork, and sportsmanship. If you are interested in coaching, or have additional questions please contact the Parks and Recreation Director: 405-747-7520 or .

Registration Information

Registration Period
Early Registration: October 1st-14th
         Fees: $50.00 per child. The registration fee covers the child's uniform and participation medal at the end of the season.

Late Registration: October15th-18th
        Fees: $60.00 per child. The late registration fee covers the child's uniform, participation medal at the end of the season and the additional $10 late fee.

(Registrations will not be accepted after 12:00pm on the Coaches Meeting and Draft Night to ensure all children will be on the roster for Draft night.)

Registration Fees:

(Note: we will have a photographer come out and take a team photo along with an individual photo if the parent desires. This will be an extra cost to be paid with the vendor.)

Registration Sites
Forms are available at Perkins City Hall: 110 N. Main, 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

A Sign-up Form can be downloaded by CLICK HERE or can be emailed to you by contacting the Parks and Recreation office at .

All registration forms and payments need to be turned into Perkins City Hall by the due date to ensure that all children are on the roster prior to the Coaches Meeting/Draft Night. If the Parks and Recreation Department cannot fill a team refunds will be issued.


General Information
Who Can Play?
Pre-K through 1st grade boys and girls- teams will be coed.

Teams will be divided into two divisions Pre-K and Kindergarten and 1st graders.

Players do not have to be residents of the City of Perkins.

Who Can Coach?
Any Adult over the age of 18 is allowed to coach. All coaches must complete and sign a "Request to Coach Form", pass a Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Registry Background to Coach.

Coaches must attend the Mandatory Coaches Meeting/Draft Night that will be held Friday, October 19th, 2018 in the Vassar Community Center (730 N. Plaza Drive)

Activity Days/Times
Practices will be held in the evenings: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Friday.
Potential Practice times: 5:30, 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, and 7:30.

Games will be held in the evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Potential Game times: 6:00: and 7:00

Location
All practices and games will be held at P-T Elementary located at 1008 E. Kirk.

Shoes
Family Shirts starting at $12 will be available for purchase through Parks and Recreation Department. Orders and payment needs to go through the coach.
