The City of Perkins is accepting applications for a full-time Customer Service Representative working for various departments including City Hall, Utilities, Police Department, and Municipal Court. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, providing exceptional customer service including answering the telephone, working the front counter, and handling monetary transactions; administrative duties such as generating/filing of reports, entering data, collecting and organizing invoices, and/or tracking payments; serving as secretary to city entities; coordination of building permits and licenses; and other duties as assigned.
After completion of the 60-day introductory period, this full-time position includes excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement with optional life insurance, disability, and accident/disease coverage, as well as paid holidays, vacations, and sick leave.
Hours & Wage: The Customer Service Representative is a full-time position working 40 hours per week; salary range is $10.00-$10.50 per hour (based on experience). City Hall’s hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. All City of Perkins full-time staff are considered essential and may be required to report to work during emergency situations.
